Bro. Joel Marron Passes

Peabody - S. Joel Marron entered in to rest on July 30, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's and Parkinson's dementia. He was 73. Born Steven Joel Marron on August 18, 1947 in Beverly, MA, he was a life-long South Peabody resident. Joel spent his entire career in the building industry (as a builder with his uncle Leonard Marron, as the assistant building inspector for the City of Peabody, and as the owner of Templar Homes). He always had a twinkle in his eye, a wry sense of humor and a willingness to help anyone. Joel believed business was done with a handshake; and would tell anyone who listened that his beloved wife of 49 years Mary (Santangelo) Marron was "THE BEST." As a racing enthusiast, he was so happy to co-own racehorses with his kids and spend an afternoon with the family at Suffolk Downs. In addition to Mary, Joel is survived by his daughter Jennifer Marron Marinella and son-in-law Craig Marinella, his son Jonathan Marron and daughter-in-law Kate (Doherty) Marron, and his grandchildren Hannah and Steven Marron. He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Frances (Toll) Marron and his brother Harvey Marron.
